Landscape: Shaken Gently With A Twist
An exhibit with thoughtful looks at landscape by 10 diverse Utah artists working in painting, drawing, cutting edge construction, collage, quilting and digital mediums. In 2010, Art Access Gallery celebrated 25 years of serving Salt Lake City, for the anniversary year, its shows were particularly reflective of the essence of Utah contemporary art. The new exhibit, Landscape: Shaken Gently with a Twist featured a prominent subject matter in the history of Utah art - landscape, and revealed its diverse and vibrant possibilities in form and content. Gallery director Ruth Lubbers said, "Utah artists have always had an abundance of good scenery, and have taken advantage of it. Art Access loves landscape, but knows there are a variety of artists who approach landscape through their own eyes in a variety of media." The 10 artists collected here each approach landscape uniquely, inventively and thoughtfully.

Another Language Performing Arts Company through an application process Elizabeth A. Miklavcic was invited to participate in this group exhibit. She showed two new digital works, Coral and Life Rising.
